 Day
01 : Delhi - Haridwar/Dehradun (205 / 260 Kms. 6 hrs)
On arrival at Delhi
Airport meet our representative. Our representative will take you to the railway
station (if you prefer rail journey to Haridwar). If you want to fly to Dehradoon
then you will board the flight to Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradoon.
 Haridwar
can be easily reached from Delhi by a car. So if you prefer drive in a car we
will take you by a car. On arrival at Haridwar, the holy Hindu pilgrimage city,
take the hotel. Freshen up. Evening enjoy Aarti at the Har ki puri Ghat. Return
back to the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 02 : Haridwar/Dehradun -
Barkot (140 / 205 Kms 5 - 6 hrs)
On the second day of Gangotri Yamunotri
Pilgrimage tour, you will leave Haridwar / Dehradun in the early morning. Lunch
will be arranged on the way to Mussoorie. Enroute explore the beauty of the Kempty
Falls.
Before evening you will reach Barkot. On arrival you will be accommodated
at a hotel. This hotel is located on the Yamunotri road. After dinner, stay overnight
at the hotel.
Day 03 : Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot 32 kms Drive /
10 km by jeep/ 6 kms trek.
Post breakfast, you will start your drive to
Hanuman Chatti (drive 32 kms). Again take a local jeep to Janki Chatti. Then trek
6 kms to reach Yamunotri. The path is arduous. So proceed carefully.
Reaching Yamunotri, have a holy bath located near the temple and offer prayer
to the Goddess at the main temple. The main temple was destroyed in an earthquake;
a new temple was built by Maharani Guleria of Jaipur built the present temple.
Yamunotri is the origin of Yamuna River.
Return back to Janki Chatti
in the evening, and then again take a local taxi for Hanuman Chatti. Then continue
drive Barkot for overnight stay.
 Day
04 : Barkot - Uttarkashi (Drive 82 kms, 4 hrs)
Post breakfast, drive to
Uttarkashi. Enroute explore the Prakateshwar Cave.
On arrival at Uttarkashi
check in at the hotel booked for you.
In the evening visit Vishwnath
Temple, Shakti Temple located at Uttarkashi. After dinner, stay overnight.
Day 05 : Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi (100 Kms. one way)
On
the 5th day of Duo Dham Holy Pilgrimage tour, you will drive to Gangotri. On the
way you drive past scenic mountains and lakes.
On arrival at Gangotri,
take a holy dip in the sacred water of Ganga. Gangotri Temple and Shivlinga in
the form of a natural rock are the main attractions to the tourists. Pray to Ganga
Maya at the temple. Explore also the natural beauty of the place. Return drive
to
Uttarkashi and stay overnight.
Day 06 : Uttarkashi - Rishikesh
(145 kms. Drive 6 hrs.)
After breakfast, you will proceed towards Rishikesh,
the Hindu holy abode as well as the yoga capital of India. On arrival take the
hotel.
Rishikesh is located at the scenic backdrop of Himalayas on the
bank of the holy River Ganga. Late afternoon, explore the Ram Jhoola and Laxman
Jhoola Bridge; don’t miss the spectacular view of the Evening Aarti at the
Ghats. After dinner, stay overnight.
Day 07 : Rishikesh - Delhi (230
Kms. 6 - 7 hrs)
In the early morning you can visit a yoga ashram in Rishikesh.
Then continue drive to Delhi. On arrival transfer to airport.
