Rajasthan is a historical destination of India and it is the
land of Rajputs there are seven forts in Rajasthan You can visit
like. Chittaurgarh fort, Jaisalmer fort, Junagarh fort, Taragarh
fort, Mehrangarh fort, Amber fort , Jaigarh fort, if u want
to get the glimpse of these fort then travel to the Fort
Palace of Rajasthan.
Day 01 : Delhi
Arrive Delhi meet & assistance at the
airport. Later transfer to the hotel. Night stay in Delhi Day
02 : Delhi Morning
proceed for city sightseeing tour of Delhi visiting Old & New Delhi OLD
DELHI - A sight-seeing tour of Old Delhi would entail visiting the Raj Ghat
- the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated; Jama Masjid - the largest
mosque in India NEW DELHI - An extensive sight-seeing tour of New Delhi
would include a visit to the Qutub Minar, a drive along the ceremonial avenue
- Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House, the President's Residence
and would end with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave. Night stay in Delhi
Day 03 : Delhi - Pachewar ( by road ) Morning after
breakfast drive to Pachewar. Arrive Pachewar & check-in at hotel. Later explore
Pachewar. A small village located at a drive of just 25 minutes from Dudu, south
to the city of Jaipur on the Jaipur Ajmer highway, Pachewar is famous for cenotaphs,
blue pottery kiln, metal toy makers and interesting surroundings. It is a lively
place that was once ruled by Khangarot Rajputs, a sub clan of Kachhawaha Rajputs.
Night stay in Pachewar Day 04 : Pachewar - Bundi ( by road )
Morning after breakfast drive to Bundi. Arrive Bundi & check-in at hotel.
Later visit Taragarh Fort built in 1354 A.D., Bundi Palace, Chhattar Mahal, Ratan
Daulat, Chaitrashala, Nawal Sagar lake, Raniji-ki-Baori (Step well), Sukh Mahal,
Phool Sagar and eighty four pillared cenotaph. Evening free to relax. Night stay
in Bundi Day 05 : Bundi - Bijaipur ( by road ) Morning
after breakfast drive to Bijaipur. Arrive Bijaipur & check in hotel. Afternoon
Visit nearby forts, picnic by the lakeside or explore the village. It is well
situated for visiting Chittaurgarh, Menal. Night stay in Bijaipur Day
06 : Bijaipur - Udaipur ( by road ) Morning after breakfast drive
to Udaipur. Arrive Udaipur check-in hotel. Evening enjoy boat ride at Lake Pichola.
Night stay in Udaipur Day 07 : Udaipur Morning
after breakfast proceed for city sightseeing tour of Udaipur visiting The
city is built in 1559 A.D. by Maharaja Udai Singh and has been described as the
most romantic spot on the continent of India by Col. James Todd. Visit the City
Palace museum, the Jagdish temple, Sahelion Ki Bari (Queen's resort for their
friends) Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk art museum) and the Pratap Memorial.Night
stay in Udaipur Day
08 : Udaipur - Dungarpur ( by road ) Morning after
break drive to Dungarpur. Arrive Dungarpur & check in hotel. Attractions in
Dungarpur are the Udai Bilas Palace and Juna Palace. Udai Bilas Palace is a good
example of the Rajput architecture with its intricately sculptured pillars and
panels, impressive balconies, bracketed windows and marvelous panels. The Udai
Bilas Palace has been now converted into a heritage hotel and still under the
control of the royal family of Dungarpur and a royal residence. Juna Mahal is
a seven storeyed structure, resembling a fortress with crenellated walls, turrets,
narrow entrances and corridors. The interiors are embellished with beautiful frescoes,
miniature paintings, glass and mirror work. Night stay in Dungarpur Day
09 : Dungarpur - Narlai ( by road ) Morning after breakfast drive
to Narlai. Arrive Narlai & check in hotel. Afternoon visit the Narlai. Legend
says that it was here that the sage Narad Muni meditated long before it was inhabited.
Later it became a hunting preserve for the Sisodias. Night stay in Narlai
Day 10 : Narlai - Luni ( by road ) Morning after breakfast
drive to Luni. Arrive Luni & check in at hotel. Later explore Luni, the small
village is home to many artisans who work with metal, clay or wood, keeping alive
the skills passed down over the centuries by their ancestor. The noise and bustle
of the village settles down by evening and all is quite as peace descends on the
desert. The fort with its huge gates and protective walls stands proud and strong
under the spectacular company of stars. Night stay at Luni Day
11 : Luni Morning after breakfast day return trip to Jodhpur. Jodhpur
is approx 34 kms from Luni. Upon arrival proceed for city sightseeing tour
of Prince Jodha founded city Jodhpur - the stronghold of the fierce Rathore clan,
in 1459. Visit the Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill. Within the
fort, visit Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing
marble cenotaph, built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II around 1899 and
Umaid Public gardens. After sightseeing back to Luni. Night stay in Luni
Day 12 : Luni - Ossian ( by road ) Morning
after breakfast drive to Ossian. Arrive Ossian & check in hotel. Afternoon
visit Ossian. An ancient town of the Thar Desert, renowned for a cluster of ruined
Brahmanical and Jain Temples dating from 8th to 11th century. The most important
temples are the Surya or Sun Temple and the Sachiya Mata Temple. The latter has
a "Shikhar" clustered by a row of tarots an ambulatory and a large assembly
hall with an elaborate ceiling. Night stay in Ossian Day
13 : Ossian - Kuchaman ( by road ) Morning after breakfast
drive to Kuchaman. Arrive Kuchaman & check in hotel. Located in Nagaur District,
Kuchaman Fort has had a strategic role to play in Rajasthan's history which unravels
as one moves around its 17th century battlements. Its picturesque village is idyllic
for those who would like to discover the charm of walking through it. Night stay
in Kuchaman Day 14 : Kuchaman - Nawalgarh ( by road )
Morning after breakfast drive to Nawalgarh. Arrive Nawalgarh & check in hotel.
Afternoon, visit Nawalgarh, the seat of the Poddar families. Nawalgarh is known
for the high quality of its paintings, even in the richly frescoed Shekhawati
area its Poddar school has some excellent old work. Nawalgarh was founded in 1737
by Thakur Nawal Singh, a warrior- statesman. Night stay in Nawalgarh
Day 15 : Nawalgarh - Jaipur ( by road ) Morning after breakfast
drive to Jaipur . Arrive Jaipur & check-in at hotel. Afternoon proceed
for CITY PALACE - A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani
architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled
city. It houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace
Museum JANTAR MANTAR - This is the largest and the best preserved
of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country.
This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use.
Night stay in Jaipur Day 16 : Jaipur Morning after
breakfast proceed for excursion to Amber Fort. Elephant ride ascent to the
fort AMBER FORT PALACE - Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort
palace. Its construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by
his descendent Jai Singh I. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where
a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds it's ultimate expression
HAWA MAHAL - The ornamental facade of this "Palace of Winds"
is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Their five-storey structures of sandstone plastered
pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953
niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand
for the palace women LAXMI NARAYAN TEMPLE - Situated in the south of
Jaipur, Laxmi Narayan Temple is one of the many such temples built by wealthy
Birla family in India, thus it is also known as Birla Mandir. The temple is a
great reminder of the secular traditions India has shown over the centuries. The
temple has been constructed in white marble and has three domes, each portraying
the different approaches to religion. The temple is situated at the foot of Moti
Doongri Fort, converted as a small palace by Ram Singh II for his wife Gayatri
Devi. Night stay in Jaipur Day
17 : Jaipur - Agra ( by road ) Morning after breakfast drive
to Agra. Arrive Agra & check-in a hotel. Later proceed for city sightseeing
tour of Agra visiting the world famous Taj Mahal *, built by the Mughal Emperor
Shahjehan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Also
visit Agra Fort, containing the Pearl Mosque - the rusty and majestic red- sandstone
fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and Emperor Akbar started
the construction in 1566. At the Diwan-I-Khas (hall of private audience) where
marble pavilions with floral inlays lend an ethereal ambience, the Emperor sat
on his gem-studded peacock Throne and met foreign ambassadors and rulers of friendly
kingdoms. Night stay in Agra Day 18 : Agra - Delhi ( by road
) Morning drive to Delhi upon arrival departure transfer to
the airport to board the flight for onward journey. Tour ends with the sweet
