Day
01: Delhi
Company representatives will receive you on arrival at the international
airport in Delhi late in the night or midnight. Transfer to your hotel. Relax.
Overnight will be at Delhi. Delhi is just not a city but it is a book-- a
book which narrates the history of India. The city was built and destroyed seven
times and has been witness to the various events which has brought India through
the history books. Seven times this city went through the pain of being built
and rebuilt. Today as the capital of India Delhi is the seat of administration
and the monuments which tell the saga of a bygone era stand
there. These icons are testimony to the grandeur of past and also an attraction
for the tourists. With an area of 1483 sq. Kms, Delhi is all set to acquire full
statehood. The charm of Delhi has attracted Emperors, Conquerors and poor in equally.
It is correctly said that Delhi is a land of 'Dilwalas' or for people with heart.
This phrase acquires a true colour when one goes around the lanes of Delhi.
Day
02: Delhi - Udaipur Breakfast will be at the hotel. Transfer to airport
for flight to Udaipur. Reach and check in at hotel. Overnight will be at Udaipur.
Day 03: Udaipur The Lake City as it is popularly known.
For the whole day we explore this picturesque town, its amazing palaces, gardens
and fountains. Udaipur : The city of Lakes, Located in the Aravalli
ranges of Rajasthan, the city of Udaipur is situated at a distance of about 405
km from the state capital Jaipur. The City of Dawn, surrounded by the ancient
Aravali Mountains and set on the edge of three lakes, is a brilliant kaleidoscope
of narrow lanes flanked by bright stalls, gardens, lakes, palaces and temples.
The city is famous for its palaces, lake, museums, temples, and gardens and much
more. Day 04: Udaipur - Jaipur Breakfast will be at hotel.
After breakfast drive to beautiful Pink City - Jaipur. Lunch will be at Kishangarh
Phool Mahal Palace. Reach and check in at hotel. Overnight will be at Jaipur.
Jaipur, the vibrant capital of Rajasthan, is popularly known as the
' Pink City ' because of the pink-coloured buildings in its old city. It sits
on a dry lake bed in a somewhat arid landscape, surrounded by barren hills surmounted
by forts and crenellated walls. This buzzing metropolis is certainly a place of
wild contrasts and a feast for the eyes. All through, Jaipur has retained its
strong Rajputana flavour tempered by several influences - the mughal being the
most prominent. The region's strong cultural heritage is distinctly evident even
today. The city is a visitor's delight. From the intricate, delicate looking Hawa
Mahal to the graphic forms of the Jantar Mantar - an open air observatory of outsized
astronomical instruments, the Badi Chaupar lined with shops and business establishments
on both sides to the majestic fort-palace at Amber; from the colorful fountains
of life to the sublime Birla Temple; from the architectural delight of the City
Palace to the serene Jal Mahal. Day
05: Jaipur Breakfast will be served at the hotel. Proceed for excursion
to Amber Fort in the outskirts of Jaipur. Elephant ride ascent to the fort. Explore
the city markets. Overnight will be at Jaipur. Day
06: Jaipur - Ranthambhore Breakfast will be at hotel. Transfer to SAWAI
MADHOPUR. Evening free at the resort and you can relax or watch some slides on
the tiger. Overnight will be at resort. Day 07: Ranthambhore
A full day game viewing inside the jungle. Overnight at the resort. Ranthambore
National Park is in Sawai Madhopur District of Rajasthan state.Located at the
junction of the Aravalli and Vindhya hill range, this is one of the finest places
to view animals, especially as they are used to being stared at here.The park
covers an area of Approximately 400 sq Km and if combined it with the area of
sawai man singh sanctuary area,it is around 500 Sq km. Ranthambore national park
was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1957 and in 1974 it gained the protection
of "Project Tiger". It got it's status of a National Park in 1981.
Day 08: Ranthambhore -
Bharatpur Breakfast at hotel. Proceed to Bharatpur. Return to the lodge
in the evening and relax. Overnight will be at Bharatpur. One of the finest bird
parks in the world, Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary (Keoladeo Ghana National Park) is
a reserve that offers protection to faunal species as well. Nesting indigenous
water- birds as well as migratory water birds and waterside birds, this sanctuary
is also inhabited by Sambar, Chital, Nilgai and Boar The major attractions of
tourists visiting the park are the numerous migratory birds, who come from as
far away as Siberia and Central Asia and spend their winters in Bharatpur, before
returning to their breeding grounds. Migratory birds at Bharatpur bird sanctuary
include, several species of Cranes, Pelicans, Geese, Ducks, Eagles, Hawks, Shanks,
Stints, Wagtails, Warblers, Wheatears, Flycatchers, Buntings, Larks and Pipits,
etc Day 09: Bharatpur - Agra - Jabalpur Early morning RICKSHAW
RIDE at the Bird Park. Breakfast at hotel. Proceed to Agra. Reach Agra and then
proceed to visit Taj. Enjoy battery van ride to the Taj. Take train to Jabalpur
in the evening. Overnight would be on board the train. Located at the centre of
the State of Madhya Pradesh in India , Jabalpur District, is one of thr most important
cities in the State . It is situated in the 'Mahakaushal ' Region of the State
and gets its name from history being the native land of the great 'Jabali Rishi'.
The holy 'Narmada' river flows through the District which is the major drinking
water source for the District.There is a multipurpose 'Bargi Dam' Project on this
river. Known world-over for its 'Marble Rocks' and the 'Dhuandhar' water falls,the
tourist site 'Bhedaghat' is also located in the district. The 'Madan Mahal fort'
is located in the City. Day
10: Jabalpur - Kanha Reach Jabalpur and you would be transferred to Kanha.
Reach before lunch and proceed for an afternoon GAME DRIVE to view TIGERS. Overnight
at the Kanha Resort. Kanha: There are numerous Tiger reserves
in India, that are preserving this ferocious beast, but nowhere can you see them
as often, and as regularly as in Kanha National Park. Located in the Mandla
district of Madhya Pradesh, Kanha national park cum Tiger reserve extends over
an area of over 1,940-sq-kms. The major feature of this region's interesting topography
is the horseshoe shape valley and the whole park area is surrounded by the spurs
of the Mekal. The Surpan River meanders through Kanha's central Maidans, grasslands
that cover the extensive plateau. Steep rocky escrapments along the edges offer
breathtaking views of the valley. Day 11: Kanha A full day
game viewing inside the jungle. Overnight at the resort. Day 12:
Kanha - Jabalpur - Delhi Proceed for the morning Game Drive into the forest.
Proceed to Jabalpur and board train for overnight journey to Delhi. Overnight
will be on train. Day 13: Delhi Arrive in the morning. Check
in at hotel and freshen up. Proceed for a full day tour of Old & New Delhi.
Transfer to airport for connecting flight home.
